A short ride from Kirkoswald was a stone Chapel stood just at the edge of the tree line, marking the border between the lawn covered grounds and the woods surrounding the estate area. The bells hanging atop still ringing after centuries of use, there being no end to family activities done with the blessing of their Chaplain. During the winter seasons, the Chapel was kept warm by the staff. Fire filled hearths and burning candles... A cobbled driveway went to two different directions, south towards the gate and west towards the castle.

Liam arrived at Kirkowsald, where he is now the chaplain. He lit candles around the room, their soft glow filling the chapel with dancing light and soft shadows.

It had been a long journey to Cumberland. As usual, he took the ship across from Ireland to Wiltshire. Having stayed at the family home there, he departed for the north. Spring was approaching, but the air was still crisp and cool; yet daffodils and small flowers began to spring out from the ground, ready to face the brightness of the March sun. After arriving in the northern reaches of the country, he made his way towards Kirkoswald, where he was performing the ceremonies.

It was a grand chapel, indeed, with a style very different to that of the Irish churches, such as that of his own parish in Loch Garman. Still, it held both the austerity and welcoming feel of any church he had visited, and he was glad of that. After all, Jah welcomes all.

A new altar boy had been assigned to the church, by the name of Robert. He hoped he would arrive soon. Blessing the water in the font, he sat down and awaited the arrivals.

Robert arrived at Kirkoswald's Chapel, whispering "Wow!". For a few months, he had served in Plymouth; it was there, at the wedding of Earl Collen and Lydia, that he met Liam, then a Deacon.

Robert had never had family, or so he had thought; his parents had perished when he was very young, and he believed the same had happened to his younger brother, Billy. His mother had died in childbirth; his father had taken Billy fishing some years later when an accident resulted in the boat's demise. Lacking family, he had taken the surname Smith and joined the church in Plymouth as an altar boy.

Not long after meeting Liam, he had met a Lady known as Shriekersmom Morgan. With her, traveled a young boy of 10 - Billy Barden. And then he realised; Billy had survived. Rescued by Smom, he had travelled with her, acting as a companion and helper. When Liam was appointed as the chaplain of Kirkoswald, Smom had sent for Robert, and asked him to join as altar boy. He couldn't have been happier to say yes.

Entering the chapel, Rob walked towards the front of the church, where Fr. Liam sat, deep in prayer.

"Father? I am here now."

Liam turned when he heard footsteps on the stone floor; he gasped in recognition.

"Robert? Have we not met before, in Plymouth? Where you not the altar boy for the wedding of my dearest friend Lady Lydia and the Earl of Caen? I thought you went by the name of Smith, yet Lady Morgan tells me you are Robert Barden. Tell me, Robert, what inspired you to change your name?"

"It is a long story indeed, Father Liam. I promise to tell you at a later date, when we're not in such a rush! Suffice it to say, it had a happy ending."

After saying this, Rob makes his way to the belfry where he rings the bell to announce that a baptism will soon begin.

"I should just take up permanent residence here." The sunlight of early spring fell through the glazed window of her chamber and traced its patterns across the floor that was covered with a mish-mash of different rugs. Now that she had stayed a number of times, she had gotten used to the chamber and even grown to view it as home away from home. The fact that she actually had a chambermaid was still a bit strange though. As someone who felt herself very capable of being able to take care of everything herself it was nice but at the same time quite decadent to be waited upon.

Instead of taking the family coach to the chapel, like doubtles most of the others would do, she decided to walk. It was not very far anyway and she enjoyed the feeling of the warm sunshine on her face as she made her way to the chapel.
Her walk was over far too soon, but she decided to wait outside for a little bit until the others arrived. As a member of the family, a seat would be reserved for her anyway.

franka and henry james arrived on ahead of time. henry was to anxious to sit still knowing his nana, emrys, his uncles and aunts were coming.

franka decided it best they waited outside by the chapel doors. she watched as henry ran around tossing a ball he had brought into the air.

she smiled at henry she could see much of his father in him.

Ryofu arrived at the chapel in plenty of time for once. She saw a few family members had gathered outside and were enjoying the warmer March weather. Ryofu made brief introduction with them as she didn't know them real well and didn't want to be in their way. She then went over and sat on a small stone bench near the chapel and awaited for more guests to arrive. Hopefully her sister Asteria would attend.

She looked up into the sky and thought, 'Two baptisms in three weeks, I may have to have one myself someday.'

Fia greeted Franka and Ryofu with a bright smile, although squinting slightly against the bright sunlight. "A good morning to you two." The occasion was a much happier one although she glanced at her niece wondering how she was coping.

United shows up at the ceremony, Lil's arm linked to his, they'd arrived at the baptism ceremony rather early (makes quite a change for United) , he'd got the invitation and decided to make an appearance to watch relatives (and friends) make a physical and visible move to demonstrate their commitment to Jah. He smiles at Lil and gives her hand a little squeeze, he's happy she consented to accompany him to this ceremony.

As they walked inside the chapel, Lilith could not help but smile as she remembered her sister's wedding that took place in there, not so long before. She'd giggle thinking of the many drinks that followed, but she resumed to smiling, turning to United, who's hand gave her a firm support, and charming by all means.
She was surprised to receive an invitation to the ceremony, as she had only briefly made aquaintance to Smom and Emrys, and she'd be a stranger to all of the guests. Lucky she had United to keep her company and the rest would follow naturally. She turned to him and squeezed his hand gently "Isn't it beautiful?"

Mini walks into the chapel with her arm linked with Elmix on her right and her son to her left. Daniel placed 3 gifts on a table for Fred, Rae, and Em to pick up after their baptisms.

"Let's get a seat close to the front so we can see," Daniel said after placing the gifts. Mini smiled and nodded in agreement. "Front row seats."

The trio headed to the front of the chapel to cheer on their friends.

Arch set out ahead of the carriage since he suspected it would be rather full today. By the time he arrived at Kirkoswald Chapel a small crowd was already gathering outside.

He smiled as he approached Aunt Fia who was talking to Franka his sister and his cousin Ryofu.

"Good morning!" Beaming he hugs his Aunt and sister and then turns to Ryofu. "Nice to see you again cousin... will your sister be coming along?"
